Wow! Welcome to the relaunch of Deluxe Designs. We have a new website, new logo and new graphics (including my cute illustration seen on the blog header!). I’ve literally been at this for months, working in collaboration with some truly fabulous people who helped me pull this off!
While I loved the old website, this one feels better to me. Why? I custom designed the widget areas, I have different page styles, and custom coded areas to appear the way I want it (as opposed to where a premade theme predetermined its placement). This may seem minor, but what it means to me is that I am growing as a web designer, gaining in ability and feeling more confident designing for you. It was also just accepted into the Studiopress showcase, so I’m thrilled for that.
I am also planning a fun photo shoot in September to go along with the site (but I just couldn’t wait any longer to debut the new site!).
I appreciate your continued support and can’t wait to work with more of you creating beautiful blogs! It’s because of you that I am able to do something I enjoy and I can’t thank you enough for that! So this website, while it’s something that I created and am proud of, I really have you to thank.
